Is it patentable?
Is the claimed invention (your idea) exhibits patent eligible subject matter, which (by law) 'include anything under the sun that is made by man'? There are only three categories of un-patentable subject matter: (1) laws of nature; (2) natural phenomena; and (3) abstract ideas. Next, a good literature search is needed to confirm that it is a new idea, i.e. it is not exactly identical to a prior art. It is worth to spend some time to review what has been patented. Learning a lot and best wishes for good surprises here!
